Testimonial - Aspirations Classic Cars - Australia

Testimonial from Richard Gaunt of Aspirations Classic Cars Hire in Australia  dated 15 January 2007

Dear Tony

It is now 9 months since I initially contacted you to discuss my interest in starting a classic car hire business in Australia.  This followed reference to the Historic & Classic Hirer's Guild in the magazine Octane in an article that they ran on classic car hire around the World.

Your positive reaction to my enquiry about the course that you run on setting up this type of business in the UK was the start of an ongoing series of email communications that saw me through the business planning stage and into the commencement of my business setup. 4 months later, I am now about to launch.

There are a number of specific things that I would like to note, and thank you for, in this testimonial for your assistance. Firstly is your passion and integrity in what you do. Virtual business relationships are normally challenging, but I found the speed at which I was able to build trust in your support from half the way round the World was incredible. This was due to your in depth knowledge of the business that you were supporting, and your unwavering commitment to always get back to me at the time that you had committed to. With these responses, there was always great insight and ideas for me to draw on.

Secondly is the adaptability that you displayed in the support of my business setup. This again relates to the use of "virtual" technologies for communication, but also the thinking that you applied to how the training course that you had developed in the UK could be applied to me in Australia.  I think it is relevant for any reader of this testimonial to note that a business relationship has been struck with Tony over the last 9 months without us ever meeting or speaking.

In February, I will be launching the business and will look to engage your ongoing mentoring support to continue what I consider to have been a very positive and enjoyable business experience to date.

Kind regards

Richard Gaunt
